Susie Griffith was born in Cleveland, Ohio and has worked in the active Chicago theater community for years. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the School of Speech at Northwestern University, where she studied theater, playwriting and screenwriting. She has continued her training at such Chicago schools as The School at Steppenwolf, Black Box Acting, and Vagabond School for the Arts. Formerly a hand model and a Pilates instructor, she is also a published author of the short story The Commuter Train, which appeared in The Cost of Paper, Vol. 4 in 2017.
