Fitore Miftari was born and raised in Switzerland to Albanian parents from Kosovo. Her father left his hometown of Gjakova to go to Switzerland and work as a seasonal worker. He later decided to settle down in Switzerland and brought his wife to live him. Fitore is the youngest of four children. Fitore inherited her interest in arts from both her parents, her father would enjoy reading poetry and listening to music, and her mother was a talented writer and singer at a very young age. Fitore played piano, danced ballet and hip-hop, and took singing classes. However, she was very passionate about acting since she was little. She was part of her high school's acting project.
Due to a lack of acting opportunities in Switzerland Fitore decided to get a Bachelor's degree in Communications and followed up by getting a Master's in Strategic Communication at Columbia University. While she was getting her degree in New York, she went to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Fitore grew up bilingual and is fluent in five languages.
