Biography

Rachel Rye Dunn was born and raised in Rigdon,Indiana. In elementary school she acted and sang in the productions of Annie and Scrooge. She also began playing the drums. Her love for singing,acting,and playing the drums continued into her high school years. Rachel played the role of Mitzi in the high school production of M*A*S*H. She was also a member of the Swing and Choral Ensembles as well as the Concert and Jazz band. In 1994, Rachel moved to Nashville,Tennessee to pursue a career in the country music industry. She sang many demos,played the drums on the Grand Ole Opry, was an extra in numerous country music videos, and worked for the Ernest Tubb Record Shop and it's Midnight Jamboree. In 2002, Rachel was honored to travel to New York and participate in a modeling event for the opening of Jennifer Lopez' new clothing line, J.LO. Shortly after New York, Rachel became a youth pastor and chose to end all of her entertainment aspirations to become a full time youth pastor and later, a mother. Around 2017, Rachel felt called to begin an acting career in faith based films. She was cast as Vicki in the faith based film, The Stranger, in 2018. The Stranger is in post production. Rachel is seeking roles in other faith based films.
