Ellis Jamal Sutton

New to filmmaking, Ellis always enjoyed writing or watching the movies rather than creating them. Only recently as late 2017 did Ellis decide to pick up the camera and make his stories come to life and pursue filmmaking at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. As a young African-American, Ellis does not always live his life portrayed by many Black men in media. Through filmmaking, Ellis looks to create more stories that highlight the diverse array of experiences by people of color.
