Biography

Jefferson Carter Wisdom was born in Springfield, Oregon and grew up in Pleasant Hill, Oregon. He began his vocal training in 7th grade with Choir then Vocal Jazz Ensemble his Sophomore year. He began acting in high school in musicals and dramatic plays. After graduation he attended Southern Oregon University and majored in Theater. Cast is "Oliver" he was featured as a principal dancer, this sparked his interest in Dance and he transferred to University of Oregon as a Dance Major. His Sophomore year in college he became a principal dancer with Mary Miller Dance Company and a guest performer with Eugene Ballet. After graduation he landed a role as "Ice" in the University's production of West Side Story and soon after as "Tinman" in Actors Cabaret of Eugene's production of Wizard of Oz. He began modeling and doing commercial work and soon moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career. He had roles in various TV Series, multiple fashion shows and some local original musical productions. In 2003 he relocated to his hometown of Eugene and began performing again in 2018. Most recently he was seen in Actors Cabaret's production of Hunchback of Notre Dame as "Clopin Trouillefou" and also Andrew MacClaren in Brigadoon. He is cast as "Oberon" in "Midsummer the Musical" with Very Little Theatre.
