Kristy Loewen

Kristy was born Kristy Ann Williams November 29th, 1972 in Port Huron, Michigan, the only child of Sherren Williams and Edward Alcorn. Her father was of Welsh, British, Irish, Scottish descent and her mother had Belgian, Dutch, German ancestry. At the age of 7 her mother moved to Sarnia, Ontario, Canada and married Robert Yorke, who later adopted her. She has 9 brothers and sisters. As a child Kristy had always wanted to be an actress. At the age of 18, after graduating St Patrick's High School in Sarnia, she moved to New York City and attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, graduating in 1993. In 1996, after the birth of her first child, Kristy became a stay at home mom and raised her three children. When her third child was starting school in 2004, Kristy decided to get back into the working world and became a 911 Dispatcher in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In 2017 she added Paramedicine to her credentials and began working in Detroit, Michigan as well as continuing to work as a 911 Dispatcher in Windsor. Kristy also has a love of animals, in particular, monkeys. In 2017 she travelled with her husband Robert to South Africa and volunteered at Riverside Wildlife and Rehabilitation Center where she cared for abused, injured and orphaned monkeys. Kristy and her husband adopted 2 Chacma baboons, Caesar and Spencer, to help support them during their rehabilitation until they can finally be released back into the wild. She plans to return to Riverside to continue to help and support them with the amazing work they do to save South Africa's primates. Kristy has 3 children, Alexandria, Kyle, and Jake. In 2013 she married Robert Loewen and gained a step-daughter, Taylor.
