Kim Viscio

Biography

Kim Viscio was born a Jersey girl and still has the hair to prove it. She has always had a strong connection to other human beings and deep need to figure out what makes them tick. This led her to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Bucknell University in the late 90s. After graduation, she thrust herself into life in New York City, pouring her creative talents into the world of advertising. The daughter of successful children's musicians, Jill and Michael Gallina, she tapped into her natural born love of writing and was soon off and running, creating buzzworthy campaigns for Verizon Wireless, Lean Cuisine, and High Point Auto Insurance, to name a few. Her Verizon Wireless TV spot, "Ferret", earned her several moments of notoriety including being shortlisted at Cannes, featured in the New York Times Style Section and recipient of a piece of hate mail from The Friends of Ferrets Society. Kim now lives in Bucks County, PA, working for herself as a freelance writer, juggling advertising assignments and writing films inspired by human truths. She's also the wife of a super cool Deadhead musician and mom to a 4-year old human beat box son and 6-year old daughter who was most definitely an 80-year old know-it-all in her former life.
