James Pirtle Jr.

James "Jay" Pirtle Jr. was born in Bonham, Texas on April 27th, 1960. As the son of a youth football coach, he grew up an avid lover of athletics. Throughout his formative high school years, his father gifted him a horse which inspired a lifelong love of equestrianism. As Pirtle was walking to class one day, he was approached by a director of "The Gray and the Blue" who asked if he knew how to ride horses. Luckily for the director, Pirtle did know and was graciously invited onto set. The rest is history.
