Francesca Barra

Francesca Barra is a journalist, writer, television and radio host and former politician. Since 2017 she's been married to the actor Claudio Santamaria. Her television career as news reporter began in various programs of Rai1 and LA7. She has collaborated with the newspaper L'unità dealing with women victims of mafia. She is also a successful writer. On January 2018, she announced her candidacy for the upcoming parliamentary elections. After then she became one of the panelists of La repubblica delle donne, with Piero Chiambretti (Rete4).
