Renata Trein Neira

Born in Brasilia, Capital of Brazil, Renata spent most of her school, as well as college years, in the southern city of Porto Alegre. She attended senior year at Monrovia Jr-Sr High School, in Monrovia, IN, USA, as a Foreign Exchange Student, where she successfully graduated. Back to Brazil, Renata attained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre. After many years of outsourced work for Brazilian Government Branches, in Brasília and in Rio de Janeiro, she came across the opportunity of joining a Summer Course on Acting focused on Audiovisual Arts, recommended by a close cousin, who was taking the course himself. "It was such an eye-opening experience! Though this was never something I'd imagined myself doing, it touched me in so many positive and unexpected ways. This new-found passion for acting and filmmaking moves and inspires me, like nothing ever has." Ever since, she has attended innumerable courses and workshops, regarding both acting and filmmaking. Meanwhile, she was signed by a talent agency and has attended various auditions for TV commercials, as well as gigs as an extra in movies and TV series, and has also taken on side projects such as independent short movies. Renata recently joined a group of fellow independent filmmakers, debuting in the professional industry by starting their own Audiovisual Production Company, having quite a few projects already lined up.
