Gökalp Yamen

Gokalp Yamen was born on December 4, 1992 in Aydin. He graduated from Aydin Cumhuriyet High School in 2011. He was introduced to cinema during his high school years. He assisted in various short film commercials and feature films. He settled in Nicosia, Cyprus in 2011. He completed 1 radio and 1 creative drama certificate programs, 3 of which were cinema. Near East University Radio, Cinema and Television, 2016 Undergraduate Graduate, NEU Faculty of Communication student, achieved the greatest success of the university since its establishment, with 1 cinema, 2 documentary, 9 short films and 5 awards in the category of short films in 4 years. He started journalism in 2016. After working in various institutions, he continued he research and work as an independent journalist. Has started his own film company in 2021.
