Edward Taveras

Edward Taveras, known professionally as TAVERAS, is a screenwriter and music video director whose work has premiered on Rolling Stone. From an early age, Edward had a passion for the visual arts and storytelling, which soon evolved into a love for film and screenwriting. While growing up the youngest of three siblings in the Dominican Republic, a broken arm he suffered during his youth helped to steer him away from sports and into the creative life instead. His extensive training and screenwriting background, from UNCSA's renowned School of Filmmaking, contributes to strong authenticity in the story component of his films. Edward is recognized for bringing out the best in all of his cast and crew with his intuitively supportive directing style.
