Sekhu Gentle

Born August 25 1974 on Davis Islands, Florida (inside Tampa) to Brenda Diane Mitchell & Colonel Jeronimo Gentle both of "Seminole" Native American descent . Sekhu Hadjo Gentle was raised by his Seminole grandmothers near present day Tallahassee , FL in the area known as Miccosukee/ Monticello,FL and Tampa. Sekhu became a musician at the early age of 12 and release his first single titled " love is not a toy". He later went on to produce more music and eventually created a Platinum and Grammy award winning Song Writing and production team called "Tha PieceMakerz" with long time friend Sylvestor (Sly Pyper) Jordan Jr. Working with various musicians like Andre (Dr. Dre) Young, Marshal (Eminem) Matthers and a host of various entertainers. In 2012 Sekhu moved back from Los Angeles California, to return to his tribe and was appointed hereditary head Chief of "The Yamassee Indian Tribe" a title once held by his Great Grandmother before her death. Having being taught the history and culture of his people, Sekhu acts as historian, Linguist & Voice of the tribe. His other ventures include running a media & publishing company , while hosting self help video web series for independent artist & musicians looking to start their own Music company.
