Raffaella Covino was born in Perugia, Italy on May 23,1969, where she currently resides. She got her degree in Modern literature in 1999.
In 2002 she attended a direction course at the School of Cinema Anna Magnani in Prato.
In 2003 she realized her first short produced by the school of Cinema Anna Magnani in Prato, with which she won the prize as the best chief actress in the competition "Corto per Corto" of the University of Studies of Perugia in 2004.
In 2005 she got the finals in the competition for Scenario Pescaracortoscript with the text "la Luce".
In 2009 she founded the cultural association "Ognifotogramma" in order to promote the union of persons who try to let the collectively know social, cultural informatively multimedia, audio and video subjects. She took part in the jury of the first edition of the "Gubbio Film Festival" and she realized the short "Cages" with the contribution of the assessor ship of the cultural young politics. She directed for the Confapi Umbria the video "I prefer one with my head" on safety at work, broadcast on the regional Umbrian TG3 daily as "advertising progress".
In 2016 she made her first feature film: "Lend a hand", that won several Festival Awards all over the world and is distributed by Leomark Studios.
