Rodolfo Gusmeroli was born in Arona, a small Italian city near Milan, in 1997. He has grown up in a family of doctors, but his mother has always been a painter and an installation artist while his father has also repeatedly shown an extreme passion for antiques trading. This artistic atmosphere brought him to galleries, exhibitions and installations ever since he was a child. This marks created in his personality a profound need to create and a constant need to search beauty in everything. He found confidence in disciplines such as drawing, graphic design, digital painting and music but soon he discovered his true vocation, cinema! In his years of apprenticeship and studies on sets and in Cinecittà's studios Academy he decided to test himself doing a leap of quality writing, directing and producing his first short film, Sturling. The short film started collecting nominations and victories at many festivals including prestigious Austin FF and Ortigia FF. In 2020 he sees himself as co-founder of Montsugi Production, a collective created with his colleague Paolo Talamonti.
