Kelly Steelman

Kelly Denise Steelman is proud to be a southern girl having grown up on a small farm in the foothills of North Carolina. Her mother, Carolyn Sarah Talley Steelman (1951-2014) was Miss Lone Hickory 1968 and Kelly credits her for her acting and artistic talents. Along with her father, William Paul Steelman (1946-), who is skilled with metal working and a mechanic by trade- they have crafted several metal and glass art pieces together. Kelly began painting as a child. She moved to Wilmington NC where she earned her BA Degree in Studio Art with a concentration in oil painting. She fell in love with acting in college. She is studying Voice and Piano in her free time and resides in NC.
