Sydney Taylor is a creative filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Savannah State University's Business program and Georgia's State University's Mass Communications program. During her graduate years at GSU, she studied film and writing in Ecuador, learning more about Ecuadorian culture and Afro-Ecuadorians in media. Sydney was so inspired by her trip in Ecuador that she decided to transition into film and television to tell stories for the global majority. Sydney has worked as a social media editor and writer for two successful women: Jini Thornton and Ask April Love. Some of the projects she has helped with are Atlanta International Fashion Week, Never Broke Nation, Praise in the Park, and BMI awards. Currently, Sydney works at Fox 5 Television, learning more about producing and filmmaking.
