Derek "Hi Def" Jones was born on November 9,1984 in Buffalo, New York USA. He wrote his first screenplay while attending North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in 2004. Hi Def added directing to his resume as he began to shoot music videos for various artists in the music industry. He would eventually launch his production company Artillery Pictures, which creates high quality visual content for audiences across the globe.
