Richard Sirgiovanni

Creator/Producer: Richard Sirgiovanni Richard studied at The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan where he received a Bachelors of Fine Arts. He studied cartooning under Harvey Kurtzman (Mad Magazine & Playboy Magazine) and Will Eisner creator of The Spirit. Immediately after graduating Richard went to work in advertising and became known as one of the leading Creative//Art Directors servicing multiple national accounts. After gaining national exposure working in advertising, Richard worked as a freelance cartoonist where he was responsible for producing illustrations that were used and published in television campaigns, comic strips, book designs and other entertainment based properties. His work as a cartoonist has been seen on Fox television, the New York Daily News, The Los Angeles Times to name a few. Richard is responsible for producing award winning campaigns for Nike, Reebok, Modell's Sporting Goods, The New York Yankees, New York Islanders, Philadelphia Phillies and many more. Richard is president of Sirg Productions where he develops children's entertainment animation based properties. Creator/Producer of The Grimps.
