Jean Camus is the son of French author Albert Camus, whom died when he was just fourteen years old. He and his twin sister Catherine hold the copyright to their father's work. Jean prefers his privacy over his sisters more public minded personality. Though he has given the occasional literary interview, he's elected to only give his voice to documentaries about his father, rather than have his face onscreen. He issued a rare public statement of objection when French President Nicolas Sarkozy proposed his father's remains be moved to the famed Panthéon in Paris.
