Brad Gilbertson is an Australian writer, musician and digital artist. Beginning his career in the arts in 2005 as the singer/song writer of Australian rock band In Fiction (Sony ATV/Shock). In 2007 the group was names Triple JJJ fresh crop artist of the year before going on to achieved ARIA chart success with their EP 'Ghost'. In 2011, Gilbertson and long term production partner, Lee Norman, founded digital production company, TopiqMedia, who would go on to work with all three major television networks in Australia. In 2012 Gilbertson and Norman co-wrote and began production of original TV pilot entitled Delicate Rod, however production was cancelled before completion. In 2015 Gilbertson wrote and illustrated two children's books (under the pseudonym PJ Gill) that were published and distributed in Australia by Woodslane. The books inspired a musical stage show entitled 'The Blast Off Crew', starring Meredith Johnston alongside the life size characters from the books (Smorgaldy and Porgan / Lots Of Pots). Although Gilbertson wrote music for the stage show he does not participate in the performances or the running of the show. Brad Gilbertson lives with his wife and two children in South Australia and is currently working on the animated adults series The Yard. Created by Gilbertson/Norman, the Yard was released as a web series in November 2017 under the production banner of TopiqMedia.
