Biography

James Patrick Chery, was born in Queens, New York. He is the youngest of the household and also the rebel. Birthed by a hardworking loving mother, Micheline and a loving father, Anthony, James sought out to be the best he could be after the tragic loss of his father at the age of 11. Upon entering high school, Saint Francis Preparatory High School in Fresh Meadows, James has always attended public school. It was a big change for him "but nothing I cant handle". With a host of diversity and relationships to form in the biggest private catholic high school in the United States, James was thrilled and couldn't wait to begin. He joined the football team as a wide receiver his freshman year and joined the track team just for fun later on. James was more than known for a slang of phrases, even before high school, but there was one he used quite often called OD. James has been given a host of nicknames throughout his high school journey and before it, and embraces them as they all bring sweet memories from his childhood, including his "Bros for life", his online gaming friends and someone he can never forget. After graduating high school in 2011, James went to continue his journey at Penn State University to pursue a BA in Business Management but that came to a halt due to financial difficulties. He came back home to NYC and entered New York Institute of Technology to pursue a BS in computer/electrical engineering. As he enjoyed his stay at both schools he realized at the age of 19 he was simply attending just to get a paycheck. While at NYIT, James was with a "talent distributing agency" which he figured out later was fraudulent and lost a lot of money. They sent him out as an extra for Law & Order: SVU and that's where it all began. James wanted to be the star. He wanted to be able to speak and have fun, have the lights on him, after-all he was used to it, and so he did. He attended New York Film Acadamy and graduated in 2014. He performed every weekend for Zombie Experience in Long Island City. He has been in numerous theatrical shows including Romeo & Juliet as Romeo and a number of lead roles. While his journey continues, feel free to check him out as the Antifa Protestor on NBC's Law & Order: SVU Season 19 episode 12, Info Wars.
