Julia Alcamo

Julia is a German-American documentary filmmaker and director. She has produced and directed 10-part documentary series for Sky History and BBC Earth and worked with film teams internationally in Japan, India, Germany and the UK. She is also co-producer of the Covid-19 digital exhibition All We Have. Her Channel 4 Random Acts film The Pool as nominated for a Royal Television Society Student Television Award and screened at Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival (Bristol) and Playback Festival (ICA, London). She has produced and co-directed an Arts Council England funded project on puppetry theater.
