Siddy Bennett is a British singer-songwriter and occasional actress hailing from the west country. Known for her husky dulcet voice and poignant performances, she has supported numerous artists including rock n roll legend Robert Plant, Tom Odell, Jill Sobule and George Ezra while touring with her band Wildflowers. Her new solo material is due to debut in 2021 under the name "A Girl Called Sid"
Most recently she gained a role singing on the BBC1 prime time TV series "Richard Osmands House of Games night" (Nov 2020), performing in his house band. She was also scouted to sing in multi platinum selling 90s Swedish techno group Rednex (Cotton Eye Jo), who she now tours Europe with.
Her autobiographical songs have gained national momentum in the UK, having 3 singles play-listed on BBC Radio 2, including an interview and feature on Bob Harris's country show, and personally championed by Steve Write.
