Marcelle Abela

Maltese-American writer-director, producer and composer. Founder of her own film production house. Abela's documentaries have won several film festivals and her science shorts have been accepted into the official archives of the European Space Agency. Her feature directorial debut "Mikha'El" (2021) has twice been awarded Best Director and Best Film Score as well as outstanding achievement awards for Best Feature Documentary. Abela is currently in pre-production on her second feature documentary "America's Woman: The History Not Told" (2023).
