Darci Jayne Wilson is a British actress, born in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Daughter of David and Samantha Wilson, older sister to Lia Wilson.
Darci's film debut will be in the short film 'Blurred Horizon', set to be released April 10th 2018. She will play the leading role of Isabella Cox, a girl struggling with mental health abuse.
Darci left education at 18 and decided to take a gap year to focus on auditions and opportunity for the film industry. She landed a job as a Scare Actor in one of the North East's most successful horror mazes, 'Scream Factory'. In addition, she is also a member of Newcastle's Northern Stage Theatre group, 'Young Company'. She had studied Performing Arts for 4 years, through GCSE and A-Level, and achieved a B grade from GCSE then a Double Distinction grade in A-Level. Within her A-Level studies, Darci has performed in a wide variety of genres on stage such as dramatic tragedies like Shakespeare's 'Titus Andronicus' in the challenging role of Lavinia, to political comedies like Steve Berkoff's 'Decadence'. To Timberlake Wertenbaker's powerful and moving drama 'Our Country's Good' to a comedic yet dark adaptation of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland'. With all the theatre experience behind, Darci will now focus on film.
