Biography

András Keller is a Hungarian violinist, a founder of Keller Quartet, and the music director and first conductor of Concerto Budapest. Hi took up the violin at the age of 7, aged 14 he was admitted to the Liszt Academy of Music. Keller studied at there with Dénes Kovács, György Kurtág, and Ferenc Rados. Later, he studied with Sándor Végh in Salzburg. András Keller was awarded the Premio Franco Abbiati, Liszt Prize, and Bartók-Pásztory Prize, was named an Artist of Merit of Hungary and was also nominated for the United Kingdom's Royal Philharmonic Society Award.
