Heather Muriel Nguyen (she/they) is a Vietnamese-American actor, writer, and director who creates visually striking films about QTBIPOC grappling with intergenerational trauma and self-love. Her vibrant curiosity and commitment to authentically uplifting voices of Color define her work. Heather's a semifinalist of the 2020 Gemstone Studios (Sony) Rising Storytellers Search. Her film about an asexual girl of Color (THO) is the first of its kind in panromantic ace representation and premiered at Outfest Fusion 2021 in the "Stand Up, Be Heard" shorts category. In collaboration, she brings emotional depth and hunger to honestly reflect her communities.
