Sasikaran Yo

Sasikaran Yo was born on December 12, 1994 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka ; He studied in Jaffna Central College. During his teenage he got an interest in film making. He spent his early twenties in filming short films with his family and friends; After he Directed "Thanikai" Short film, lot of people encouraged him. He continued making short films. He directed more than 12 short films since 2016 Due to financial problems in 2016, He started Editing as his career. His debut film as Editor was Sandiyan. During the next 2years, He edited consistently films, Short films and Songs. He has worked in 5 feature films since 2019. He is best known not only as a director but also for his unique editing techniques and distinctive cinematography. Through experience in directing and editing short films Through experience in directing and editing short films he learned the guerrilla techniques he would later use in his films.
