Biography

Iran-born screenwriter-director Xarovan Eskandari began his career in Tehran, successfully directing TV commercials and shows for Iran national television before moving to Dubai in order to make films in the international market. He managed to make two short films "The Dark Dawn" (about AIDS) and "Article 18" (about religion freedom) and the documentary "A Drop for a Sea" (about Somalian refugees and the drought disaster in 2012.) in Kenya and Somalia. After a while, he invited to Turkey by the most famous Persian satellite channel (GEM TV) to managing the production process as supervising producer and post-production manager. 19 movies and 4 TV series (totally 180 episodes) produced and distributed as a result. Soon after, Xarovan started Persis Films Production group and since then has maintained his focus on feature film writing, producing, and directing.
