Karin Torbjörnsdóttir

Born and raised in south of Sweden to an Icelandic mother and a Swedish father, Karin grew up bilingual. Today she speaks four languages fluently: Swedish, Icelandic, English (US, UK) and German, with basic knowledge in French and Italian. Karin showed musical skills early on, and started her voice and piano studies in Sweden, with further studies abroad. She has Master's degree in Arts -Opera and Music Theater from Universität Mozarteum Salzburg (Austria). After working professionally at opera houses in countries such as Germany and Switzerland, she attended film acting studies at Prague Film School (Czech Republic), graduating in 2018. Since then Karin has worked professionally in both fields, film and opera. Karin loves nature, traveling and animals, and is an intermediate equestrian -dressage and horsemanship. She is fascinated by psychology and the psychological aspect of different characters.
