Chris River

Chris River is a Canadian actor known for his series regular role on the "The Parker Andersons" and "Amelia Parker". Chris has also acted on "The Expanse" and "Odd Squad" among other series. One of Chris' first on-screen appearances was when he acted in a commercial for WestJet (Celebrating 10 years of WestJet Cares for Kids) when he was 8 years old. Since then, he's been in numerous other commercials, notably a digital and TV campaign for Scotiabank. Chris has voiced the character of Samir in a special feature length episode of the beloved animation "Arthur". Chris is the only child of Canadian actress, Shiva Safari, who has appeared in a recurring role in Umbrella Academy as well as Disney's Secret Society of Second Born Royals. In his personal life, he has a respectable musical repertoire; he plays the Piano, Clarinet and Tenor Saxophone. He has written and performed original compositions on the Piano and time permitting enjoys participating in talent shows and theatre performances. Lastly, Chris enjoys writing historical fiction and has a passion for studying 20th century political events.
