Kunal Patel

Kunal Patel was born in Dodivada, Gujarat to Sangitaben, a religious activist and Jayantibhai, a farmer. Better known by his stage name XKXO, Kunal Patel is an actor, hip hop recording artist and music producer. He grew up in Kalol, Gujarat a suburban city bordering middle Gujarat. At the age of 19, Kunal embarked on his musical career as a record producer, with a focus on hip hop production. He subsequently entered his first partnership with his longtime friends, Harshil Modi and Mohit Jain, forming the trio Ape Dep toe, in 2013. After leaving college, Kunal moved from Udaipur, Rajasthan to Mumbai, Maharashtra. Eventually frustrated in Mumbai, Kunal moved to Kalol, Gujarat three months later. After coming home he started working on his first solo project. Kunal Patel has stated that he is influenced by Travis Scott, Kid Cudi and Kanye West.
