Kevin was born in Newton, MA and resides in Clayton, NC. He attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH (1995); University of New Hampshire (History, 1999); East Carolina University (Masters of Physician Assistant Studies, 2012). He served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan as a US Air Force C-130 Navigator between 2004-2006. From 2013-2019 he created and hosted the "Wait, What If... Podcast" which focused on interviews with authors, scientists, philosophers, and filmmakers. He met actor Kyle Hester during an interview in 2016 and subsequently became a funding producer for Kyle's films Zombie with a Shotgun (2019) and Preacher Six (in development). He created/hosted a medical based web series called "Better Off Med with PA Sully" which launched in 2017. In early 2019, "Wait What If Podcast" was discontinued and he started a new veteran's podcast called Twenty One Gun in an effort to help tell the story of the modern veteran and curb the problem of 22 veterans committing suicide every day. The show was an immediate success. Shortly after its launch on Memorial Day 2019, the show was picked up by Donny O'Malley's (Vet TV) non-profit Irreverent Warriors as their official podcast.
