Callum Hurley

Biography

Callum Hurley is a writer and producer known for THE RESIDUE: Live in London. Hurley received a Diploma and A Levels in Media and Film when he discovered Acting and went on to earn a First Class Honours Degree in Musical Theatre at The London College of Music. Before attending University, Hurley got a taste for playwriting while writing the book for [Take Two!], a musical by himself and friend Benjy Cohen. The pair worked on [Take Two!] for a number of years, testing the show in schools and finally producing the current iteration of the play at The Landor Theatre, London in 2015. During his final year of University, Hurley wrote multiple drafts for a stage play entitled "Residue". After graduating, Hurley reworked the show into "THE RESIDUE" and produced the show at The Stockwell Playhouse, London on July 17th 2017 with the help of some crowd-funding. The show was recorded live, edited and released as "THE RESIDUE: Live in London" on Amazon Prime Video on September 30th 2017. Hurley is now working on his latest play, "This Mind Ends With Yours", with plans to record the live show for film.
