Sophia Tamaro

Born in Trieste, Italy and raised in Hong Kong, Sophia is a multilingual writer/director. She often works with German/Italian casting director Beatrice Kruger as her casting assistant. In 2017, she directed "Unexpected Monsters", a short psychological drama about a mother who stalks her estranged daughter as she shoots to fame. Following a meeting with the producers of Fox Grosvenor Films, Jo Fox and Natalie Grosvenor, at the London Screenwriters' Festival in 2017, Sophia was selected to direct their short film "Coming Home", a family drama set in Yorkshire.
