Susann Roethke

Susann Roethke is a German actress known for Sonia (2017) and Grit (2019). At the age of five, she started gaining experience on stage as a dancer and actress at the theater of her home town. From the moment she discovered her artistic talent and passion on, she continuously contributed it not only to her theater performances, but also in choirs, dancing groups and musicals throughout her childhood and adolescence. Nevertheless, she decided to pursue a corporate career and, after obtaining a degree in International Business, started working as a product manager. However, her craving for the art of acting soon caught up with her. She returned to the stage in Stuttgart in 2014. From 2015 until 2016 she took acting classes at the Live Act Academy in Stuttgart. In 2015, she attended an acting summer intensive course at the world-renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and experienced an acting training remarkably more extensive, demanding and supportive than in Germany. Subsequently, she came to LA to receive her professional acting training as a full-time student at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre in 2016. In LA she started to act in front of the camera in order to complement the acting experiences she had gained in over 14 years on stage. In 2019, after successfully finishing her acting training, she returned to Germany. In Berlin she has found her new creative home, pursuing a career in acting, voice acting and coaching.
