Keanna Dunn is an American actress of African, Latin, and European descent. Born on October 16, 1995 in Los Angeles, California. Dunn convinced her foster mother to let her sign up for her first school theatre performance at the age of 14 to pursue her love for acting and performing. A triple-threat, she immediately booked roles in singing talent shows, dance, and theatre performances. Going on to college, she never let go of her vision for performing and the entertainment industry, as she majored in Cinema Television Arts and graduated with her BA from California State University of Northridge. There she learned the business side of the industry including production work, film producing processes, where the industry is going and post-production, all while taking on many auditions and trying to land an agent in this big city. She began taking classes at TSAW LA (Tasha Smith's Acting Workshop) under director/coach Tasha Smith and Ryan G., and was trained in the "Ivana Chubbuck" method. Studied and trained using scene study and practice of acting techniques based on the teachings of Stanislavsk. She loves the read "Power of the Actor" by Ivana Chubbuck, and uses that as her guiding tool as she goes along in her career.
Along with scene study, she went on and signed to Commercial Talent Agency- Luciano Reeves in the city of Los Angeles and was called for many commercial auditions. She has a passion for learning more about polishing her craft. Her passion with performance led to an interest in additional training and education about the producing and film creating, due to the lack of opportunity she saw in Los Angeles for groups of actors that looked like her. She aims to be able to fund her own ideas and other stories as her career as an actress grows. She hopes to one day see herself attached with the titles "Director, & Executive Producer".
