Yuan Yuan Liang

YUANYUAN LIANG is a Costume Designer, Fashion Designer, Illustrator, Costume Fabricator for stage, film and TV. She is also taking charge of private customization and hosting design department for YUAN'S EXCLUSIVE COUTURE in Shanghai China where she has located her professional pattern house and high fashion customized showroom. Yuan's designs have been seen in the largest and most popular TV Programs on Shanghai Oriental Television. She also designed costumes for Shanghai Kunju Opera Troupe, Shanghai Peking Opera Theatre, Shanghai Majestic Theater. She worked with numerous celebrities and TV Hosts. Including CCTV ZHENGDA VARIETY SHOW host Lin Hai. Shanghai Media Group Hosts: Zhu zhen, Ni Lin, Jin Wei, Xia Lei, Ye Rong, etc. As character designer and concept designer, YUAN participated in WALT DISNEY IMAGINEERING BLUE SKY PROJECT. As a Costume Designer, YUAN recently designed the Off-Broadway show: LOVE, MEDEA (The Center at West Park - NYC ). THE HUNTINGTON LIBRARY'S 100th GALA ( The Huntington Library, Art Museum, And Botanical Garden). NIGHTWALK IN THE CHINESE GARDEN (The Huntington Library, Art Museum, And Botanical Garden), BLACK LIKE ME (CalArts), THE SEAGULL (CalArts), GHOST (Hollywood Fringe Festival), MAN DOWN (Edinburgh Fringe Festival). YUAN's recent film work includes: GRANDMA DEAREST, RECKLESS, STEAM, HIDEAWAY, THE BEE, THE MONKEY KING, MISFITS, HOME, PAZ, STRINGS OF BUTTERFLIES, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, WHITE DRESS, KINTSUGI, ARCADIA. As lead instructor, YUAN teaches Costume Design at Top 10 Art School -California Institute Of The Arts CAP program summer school. YUAN holds a Master of Fine Art Degree in Costume Design and Scenic Design from California Institute of the Arts. She also holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Fashion Design and Graphic Design from Dong Hua university ( Shanghai, China ). She always has a passion to fight for her dreams. She believes, " If it's easy, it's hardly worth doing."
