Josse De Maesschalck

Josse De Maesschalck, born in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, is a young writer/director. Currently active as assistant-director for popular youth series wtFOCK (SKAM Belgium). Working on short film PASSAGE, with production company SKLADANOWSKY, and writing a high-end tv-series. He started as a boom operator, at GENT-WEST, TORPEDO,... while studying. Later, he focussed more on his own style and storytelling, developming some scripts and started working as director for many small and bigger music videos, corporates and pub's. Now focussing on fiction and dreamy, intimate stories, he's trying to make cinema a place of escape and peace again, with universal stories and premisses, told in a never seen world.
