Kali Cantrell

Kali Cantrell, is an American actress and filmmaker born at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, to a Scottish-Irish and Puerto Rican father and Mexican-American mother. Kali began her career appearing in commercials for Disney and Universal Studios at the age of 7. She has since appeared in several film, television, and commercial productions both in the U.S. and abroad. She is best known for her role as Michelle, the quirky, eccentric, funny and lovable best friend in the award-winning Cat's Bad Hair Day directed by Debby Wolfe. As a young child, Kali appeared in an international television commercial campaign for Virgin Mobile alongside hip-hop artist Busta Rhymes. She later starred in several independent films and branched out into television in 2011, with a recurring guest role in a Lebanese television drama series. In 2016, she co-founded Cantrell Media, a production company based in West Hollywood, CA.
