Simone Lyles

Simone Lyles was born and raised in Bay Area, California. She is now a Writer/Director/Producer, with her most most notable work being 'Origin' which she wrote, directed and produced. Having been a former collegiate basketball player, much of her start behind the camera came with assisting the creation of brand content for collegiate athletic teams. From there she held roles as an editor and production-assistant in sports television. While attending UCLA as an MFA Writer/Director Simone was awarded the GOFP Fellowship (2016), Motion Picture Association of America Award (2017/2018) and the NAACP/NBCUniversal Television Fellowship (2018).
