Jad Jacob

Jad Jacob is a Syrian-American filmmaker, composer, actor, and writer. He is the writer and director of the web-series Opus 12; a feature-length prequel to the series, Belwatch; web-series OFFICE; short film It's Not What It Looks Like; and the documentary I Am Syria. Jacob has composed the scores for all of his films to date, as well as for several other films. He is an advocate for Syrian refugees, and has played music and showed his documentary at several cabarets and events to help raise money to help those affected by the Syrian refugee crisis. Jacob studies film at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
