During her thirteen years of writing, Kerrie Rose grew from a short story horror writer into a novel writer varying from crime to adventure and widened her skills into becoming a Sci-fi script writer. Her scriptwriting began with her own full-length adventures of 'Doctor Who', and going on to write scripts for music videos, adverts, and even short films; linking her line of written work in with her editing and film production at Midnight Edit Productions (MEP).
In 2014, Kerrie moved to Cardiff and attended the University of South Wales to study Media Production, where she began to fulfill her dreams in film editing, using her own scripts to create new worlds. MEP's videos vary from inspirational, heart touching Music Videos to Short Films based on bullying and the consequences, to the life of a Vampire who swears revenge on the Human race and a fictional film on psychological illnesses.
Kerrie's aspiration is to work in TV and Film Production editing and writing for shows. Both her current academic studies as well as all of the independent work she has undertaken have fuelled her passion for this industry. Kerrie has won multiple Media awards, and at the age of 11, Kerrie won a short story publication in a Young Chambers Story Competition. She has since self-published a short story and a children's book in order to raise money for charity, and now spends her free time from the university as a freelance filmmaker and novelist.
