Ghazal Tahernia

Ghazal Tahernia is a Toronto based stop-motion director and animator. She graduated from OCAD University with a degree in Integrated Media - Animation. Her professional experience includes prop fabrication and animation on PBS KIDS Let's Go Luna Interstitials, commercials, and short films at Stop Motion Department Inc. and teaching stop motion workshops at Toronto Animated Image Society. Her previous work Orlloon and I was screened at festivals in Canada and France and admired for its vivid colors and unique storytelling. Her most recent work Zar explores her cultural routes through an animated dance performance, and it's touring festivals around the world.
