Drew Hagen

Artist Drew Hagen (born 1977) is a film director, writer and fine art photographer; Born in Minnesota, Hagen left his midwestern home at age 18 to study filmmaking in Los Angeles, California and shortly thereafter, moved to Hollywood. After dropping out of film school, he tried modeling and acting in several small roles, including (uncredited) extra work on the Disney film Mighty Joe Young (1998). Having developed a portfolio as a model and actor, he discovered a natural passion for photography. Hagen eventually returned to the midwest where he formally studied Fine Art at the University of Wisconsin.
