Linda Rojas

Biography

Journalist from Caracas, Venezuela. She holds a degree in Media Communications, specializing in print journalism. Linda worked as Editor of Magazines and newspapers in Caracas since she was 17 years old. Rojas is a visionary with an incisive taste in business and a great passion to do what she loves with persistence and determination in the entertainment industry such as print, television and film. In the United States she studied her Masters in Business Administration; being also, one of the founders of a Film Festival of Horror, Suspense and Science Fiction of short films, called "Miami FearFest". Rojas, today, is responsible for the Public Relations of the newspaper entitled El Venezolano News, located in the city of Miami. With more than 26 years in circulation and being the dean of the information of the Latin audience, it is distributed in different counties, cities and countries such as Miami Dade, Broward, Tampa, Orlando, Houston, Panama, and Costa Rica. It is worth noting that in New York and Boston special editions were made and distributed, where Linda Rojas had the opportunity to be the Editor in Chief. Likewise, as a plan to underpin the public relations of the Editorial El Venezolano Group, she produces two television shows "La Hora del Brunch", a live magazine, and "Destino en la Mira", a TV Show about Tourism and Gastronomy within a national channel of USA, VME TV and previously in a regional TV network called Mira TV. Thanks to the public reception, scope and rating, La Hora del Brunch was selected as the only TV Show of the State of Florida as the official press of the United States to cover the Cannes Film Festival 2017. She won a Telly Award for this TV SHOW, and The Gold Mara International Award for a Producer with International Projection. On the other hand, she has also excelled as producer of several short films: one made in New York and the others between the city of Miami and Venezuela, with talents and crew of recognized trajectory. For 2018, she is scheduled to produce two feature films of Horror and Suspense, being the first one his favorite film genre. In the same way, for her experience in more than 16 years of work in the entertainment industry and her ability to interact with personalities of the media, she has managed to interview and work with celebrities such as Ismael Cala, Alessandra Villegas, Eddie Herrera, Andrew Hewitt, Bill Benton, Larry Katz, Alejandro Hidalgo, Guillermo Londoño, Cesar Roman, Luis Luyando, Willy Martin, Yul Burkle, Dad Dager, George Harris, Sabrina Seara, among others.
