Biography

Cary Stillwell identifies mostly as Muskogee Creek Indian from Oklahoma and exudes the authenticity and friendliness found in small towns. Aside from her cheekbones, however, her appearance is more like her French and German ancestors. Her involvement in stage and film began in her teens as an assistant director in South Texas at Pan American Summer Stock Theater. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Theater from Colorado State University. She is an artist of many talents. Professionally, she has held nearly every position in a theater, from set designer to orchestra sax player, and including writing, producing, and directing a musical, which she also choreographed. She is a trained dancer. Cary is an ambitious woman who invites challenge. At a time in her life when most would be thinking only of the white sandy beaches of retirement, she relocated to Los Angeles and began a full-time acting career. Within four months she was cast in her first supporting role as Eva Braun in the pilot of Scorpion Girl, in which she was required to learn German. She also speaks conversational Spanish.
