Dutch director/producer Theodor van der Lans (March 30th 1959) lived and worked for several years in France (Paris - Annecy). Graduated in sociology (1989 - University of Leiden/ The Netherlands) pursued in his early professional years a career as researcher and consultant. Midway career he worked in Human Resources Development. Once he was the youngest aid at Werner Herzogs' 'Nosferatu (1976) - this first love - filmmaking - called him back several years ago. After making rumour with some remarkable documentaries ('Unlimited Love' and 'The Robbery' - both 2015) Van der Lans crossed the line towards fiction. In 2016 he directed and produced his first production 'Waves of Hope' (22m). Working on 'Chloe's Revenge' (projected for 2018).
