Sophia Devine

Sophia is a native Texan that has followed her dream to work in the film industry. Along the way, she has gained a rich experience and knowledge from working on various film and video projects from inception to completion across the state. Her detailed and well-organized expertise on shoots, together with her wide range of experience from set-up to film production has given her a well-rounded appreciation of all that is required in creating and producing results. Her talents include not only the mechanics of film production, but also the creativity of script writing, working with script analysis, dealing with script changes, and edits. She has not only helped on several scripts, but has authored several of her own. Working in the film industry is a second career for her, since she achieved her goals, becoming a successful business owner for over 15 years. She worked in the wholesale horticultural industry, as well as a Horticultural therapist helping patients suffering from traumatic brain injuries. However, film and the arts was always her passion. She pursued her education and received two degrees in Film Production and Screenwriting from Film Connections Institute out of California. Since then, Sophia has been instrumental sharing her creative passion working on projects, from documentaries, short films, commercials, PSA's and small budget films, some of which have received local awards!
